What to look for when selecting a quality industrial computer console desk supplier.

As the President and CEO of ImageVision, Inc., my roots in quality processes run deep!

After graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, I began a 23 year career with the Allen-Bradley Company headquartered in Milwaukee, WI.  In those days, Allen-Bradley was the market leader in industrial controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial computers. From its founding in 1907 by Harry and Lynde Bradley, quality was not only a part of the company's identity, its pursuit was instilled within every company employee. When I left Allen-Bradley (then Rockwell Automation) in 1999 to lead ImageVision, I did not leave behind any of what I had learned about quality.

Specifically, I have learned that Quality is comprised of Five Essential Ingredients:

  1. Documented quality policy and processes
  2. Root cause analysis and resolution of all problems
  3. Customer satisfaction surveys (CSS)
  4. Formal customer service report (CSR) system
  5. Continuous employee engagement in quality and process improvement

Today, these essential ingredients are deeply embedded in ImageVision's culture, its products, business processes, and people. ImageVision's primary business objective is to clearly understand our customer’s expectations and requirements and to consistently deliver both products and services that meet or exceed them.

In line with our quality goals, we maintain ISO 9001:2008 registration of our fabrication facilities. Learn more about our Quality Policy.

ImageVision is committed to continuous quality improvement processes throughout every facet of our business. This is achieved through the linkage of customer feedback via CSS on 100% of console shipments with customer service reports (CSRs) if any problems or suggestions for improvement are received. When we encounter any problem or suggestion for improvement, it is recorded in our CSR system and coupled to engineering, manufacturing, and management review. This ensures detailed root cause analysis and resolution of all problems so they are corrected and not repeated.
