CRT & LCD Display Consoles |
Ability is defined as “the quality or state of being able; natural aptitude or acquired proficiency; competence in doing…”
That describes our AbleVIEW ® control room consoles exactly!
ImageVision consoles and industrial workstations are clearly the standard when you need robust consoles and computer furniture that will stand up to 24/7 applications. Now your SCADA System, Security System, Command Center or Network Center will look good for a long time! Over the years of providing AbleVIEW ® technical furniture consoles to Fortune 500 customers, we have highly refined our design and fabrication methods. Our rigorous program of customer follow up, coupled with detailed feedback to our engineering and fabrication facility, insures that you are satisfied with our high quality!
Whether you need improved control room organization and new DCS furniture, better computer furniture, a more user-friendly operator workstation (either seated or standing operators), our AbleVIEW ® console family can deliver it!
 |
AbleVIEW ® Series consoles have been employed in a wide range of operating environments; from "show case" consoles and network operations centers to industrial enclosure type consoles for requiring robust performance characteristics from the control room to factory floor.
"Designed In" modularity insures that your initial console investment will be protected for years to come, when additional process control measurement and monitoring requirements add to the number of CRT or LCD screens being observed from the control room or data center console. In the DCS furniture application on the left, the original installation of our AbleVIEW ® console called for a 2-Tier, 48in wide (2 screens wide by 2 tall), and a 2-Tier, 24in (1 screen wide by 1 tall) unit. After seven years of installed operation, the process engineer required three additional screens to be monitored from the center of the control room console line-up. The solution - Easy! We simply shipped a third-tier monitor housing module for each of the two unit widths, and the growth problems were solved.
Notice that the front faces of our modular wedge sections are available for mounting operator support devices, such as task lighting, controls such as pushbuttons and selector switches or, as in this case, telephones. The front panels of the wedge turn-angles are easily removed for any field modifications as required. |
Like all ImageVision consoles our AbleVIEW ® operator consoles are shipped as individual units that are "Fully Assembled" at our fabrication facility. The units arrive shrink wrapped and edge protected on their on pallets. They are ready to move in, level and bolt-together, making field installation convenient and fast.

Need Printers or CRT's and other equipment above your work surface?
Our Equipment Riser Shelf is a cost effective solution!
 |
We can provide "laser" cutouts for mounting your control devices and equipment in the console. These cutouts are typically provided on removable front panels on the monitor housings, or on the front face plate of the turn angles.
Need a special module for mounting your controls and other equipment?
We can do it!

One example is our controls “riser” placed between the top of the monitor housing and optional task light module on this console workstation used for boiler control in a steel mill. Such modules can also be located under the 1st tier monitor housings. In this instance, we provided the cut outs and the custom legend plate for the controls riser as well.
Simply stated, our goal is to complete as much of the console package as possible before it arrives at your facility to insure ease of installation and start up for your project.
Each unit in an ImageVision console line up is shipped as a fully assembled structure.
We do not ship console “erector sets!”
On-site installation is a simple task for two people. Just bring the units in, level each section, bolt together the frames, join work surfaces utilizing our special “self-aligning” draw bolts. Then you’re done!
